Our Purpose

_______________________________________

GROW IN FAITH

We continually grow in knowledge of God's Word, placing our trust in Him.

God's Word is what creates and strengthens faith and equips us for living our Christian life. At Good Shepherd, we focus on learning more about our Savior and building each other up with Christ as the foundation.

LIVE IN GRACE

We love and care for each other as a family, as brothers and sisters united by One Lord.

The Bible will often refer to fellow believers as brothers and sisters, a family. At Good Shepherd, we show the love Jesus showed us, to one another. We encourage and support each other in all situations.

SHARE GOD'S LOVE

We share the news of our compassionate Good Shepherd, with everyone we can.

Jesus is coming again. The time is short. We have the life-saving message of Jesus, and it is the responsibility of every member of our congregation to be trained and equipped to share the hope they have. Our mission field is all those who do not know the love of God and those living in darkness.

What We Believe

Dear Friend;

I’d like to introduce you to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church is a place where you and your family can find direction and meaning for life as you grow in God’s grace. Our congregation is committed to sharing the timeless truths of God’s Word as they apply to our lives today and for eternity.

Good Shepherd Lutheran is a member of the Wisconsin Evangelical Synod; a church body known for its faithfulness to God’s Word, for Christian Education as well as for its world-wide mission programs and activities. Good Shepherd has been serving the families of Plymouth and the surrounding area for over 45 years.

We are a growing congregation with families and individuals of all ages. And we offer a variety of opportunities for individuals of all ages to grow in their understanding of God’s word and his blessings for you.

At Good Shepherd Lutheran we want everyone to understand that Jesus is their Good Shepherd who offered his life on the cross as a payment for their sins. He rose from the dead on Easter Sunday and 40 days later he returned to heaven in glory. He will come again to take all who believe in him to live with him eternally.

You are invited to join us for any of our worship services or activities. You may call me at (920) 893-0207 and we'll be happy to assist you in learning more about Jesus, the Good Shepherd, and our congregation.

Psalm 23 NIV

The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
